About Me
Hello! My name is Ember Gray, welcome to my website! I am a self published author and blogger who grew up in Indianola, IA and now lives in Des Moines.
While I dabble in a bit of everything (including short horror stories and a thriller novella), my favorite things to write are short stories and poetry that use words carefully chosen to express emotions or create a vision in the reader’s mind.
A lot of my upcoming work will involve a more mystical, magical look at the beautiful world around us; the pure magic of Mother Earth, the Universe, and the power of love.
“Why do you write?”
I was created to create.
I find my voice within words. Writing helps me organize my thoughts and gives me a much better understanding of my own mind. And simply put, I love expressing myself through creativity.
I love to learn, to create, and to spread love to others.
New Release!
I Am Woman, A collection of poetry celebrating strong, loving, powerful women.
My dear, you’re not weak.
Do you not feel your own drive,
your desire for home?
I promise darling,
you are stronger than you know
you will find your home.
Can you answer me–
not everyone keeps trying,
Why do you try still?
